I don't think this is Newmarket Street, this is Old George Yard, with the extension being built at the back of Brown Muffs. There looks to be an old Bentleys Yorks Brewery sign leant against the wall of the farthest building.

yes i agree, this is looking towards Old George Yard. building what seems to be the old bus depot.
