The small building at the end of the street is where Mr Leach made and sold his muffins, crumpets and oatcakes. Kids used to call and buy warm oatcakes, half-penny each. Miss Leach, his sister, had a dress maker's shop on Otley Street and a brother was a painter at G.H.Masons.

My Great Great Grandparents lived at number 10, John and Hannah Alice O'neill. John died there in 1901.

My 4 x Great Grandparent Edward and Elizabeth Baxter lived here in 1851

Edward (a shoemaker) and Elizabeth were my 2nd great grandparents, and it must have been very hard for them to bring up a family here.
