Sad rumour in Craven Herald that North Yorkshire may sell this lovely little site for holiday home car parking. It has been greenspace since the early 1970s when the former cottages were knocked down.

This seems a dangerous place to put parking spaces, adjacent to a busy junction. The decision to grant planning permission to turn the old bed storage building into cottages was a strange one given the lack of suitable parking.
